New Layout and Scrapbooks

I am currently a fan of a group called The Filharmonic. I am absolutely in love with them. I listen to their music everyday. As of lately, I am always on Twitter tweeting about them. For these reasons I have decided to make a new layout featuring The Filharmonic. In the process of doing so I found that my scrapbooks were not loading.

The reason for this was that over a year ago the website Scrapblog, the website where I had my scrapbooks, were bought out by Mixbook. In this process I had lost all my scrapbooks. I then spent the whole day searching online for images and recreating the scrapbooks. They should all be working except for one. I’m hoping to have this done sometime this week.

I hope you all like the new layout and enjoy the scrapbooks. If you do not like the current layout you are free to change it. By all means I will not be offended. There are six to choose from and I hope that you can find one that you like.

The Filharmonic

Another group on The Sing-Off is The Filharmonic. They are six Filipino guys and consists of Niko Del Rey, Virgil Joven (VJ) Rosales, Barry Fortgang, Jo Caigoy, Trace Gaynor and Jules Cruz. On the first episode they sang Treasure and I just fell in love with them. One of the reason is because I am Filipino. I am so proud to be their fan and be a true Filharmaniac.

I love that all of them have accepted my friends request on Facebook and that they all have favorited, retweeted or replied to my tweets on Twitter. I love them so much that I have purchased their hoodie.

You should go to YouTube and watch their performances and see for yourself how good they are. They are also going to be on The Sing-Off Tour.

Home Free

For those who don’t know me I love music. I am a fan of both Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees. When I heard that there was a season 4 for a show called The Sing-Off and that Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees was hosting again and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was going to be a judge again I had to watch the show. I’ve never seen the first three seasons but I decided to watch. It is an a capella singing show where teams sing a capella to songs and each episode one team goes home until there are three teams left in the finals and one team becomes the winner and wins $100,000 and a Sony Records recording contract.

On the first episode a group by the name of Home Free sang Cruise by Florida Georgia Line. The group consists of five guys who sing a capella country style. They are Tim Foust, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp and Chris Rupp. They don’t always sing country songs but they do all songs country style. When I heard them sing cruise I instantly became a fan. I then heard Tim Foust singing in bass and he was simply amazing. The second episode they sang Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts and Tim’s bass voice got lower. I didn’t think it was possible to get this low but he did it. This is when I knew I was becoming a fan and was a ‘Home Fry’.

They have released an album on iTunes and Amazon called Crazy Life and are going on The Sing-Off Tour. You should listen to their album. You won’t be disappointed and may even become a fan yourself.
