FanUpdate

I just converted my blog from CuteNews to FanUpdate. I have to update my collective to FanUpdate as well. Will do that sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Shopping Again and the Money Pits

My mom and I went back to Deep Discount again today. She wanted to get all the movies that she wanted that she didn’t own. She made a list so we went today. I bought Die Hard With a Vengeance, The Money Pits, and TMNT (game for Gameboy Advanced). My mom bought some James Bond movies that she didn’t have (she is collecting all of them) and lots of other movies.

I saw the Money Pits today. it is so funny. It is about Shelly Long’s character who married a man named Max. When they got a divorce she moved into an apartment with Tom Hank’s character, the man she now loves. Max took the apartment from her and she and Tom Hanks had to find a new place to live. They looked for an apartment but instead found this house that they thought was a beautiful house. They bought the house and moved in. Afterwards there was so many problems with the house including the stairs going to the 2nd floor fall apart, water giving them what looks like chocolate milk water, front door broke down, electrical blew up, roof leaking, etc. They had to hire this guy to fix it. It took the guy and his men 6 months to fix the house. Afterwards the house looked so good. The two then got married.

The move is so funny because of all the things that was going on in the house. A must see if you haven’t already seen it. It is an old movie from the 80s.

Shopping

Today my mom and I went shopping at this new store that opened up by us. The store sells movies, games, music, and books at discounted prices. I bought two movies that were under $10 each. I also bought the new Women’s Murder Club series book by James Patterson. It is a hardcover and only cost $13.31. Normally if costs $27.95.

Afterwards we went to Costco. My mom had a coupon for $97.00. We can spend $97 or more and it would take off $97. I bought some sausage, juice, chips/salsa, two movies, a book, street map book of Illinois, and mozzarella cheese.
